Creative Non-fiction Writers' Workshop
Creative Non-fiction Writers' Workshop
When: third Wed of the month, 6.30-9.30pm
Starts: 18th February 2026
Where: Online (GMT)
A monthly writing group for writers working on all forms of creative non-fiction, from biography and memoir to essay and family history, providing thoughtful feedback for works in progress, structure and a sense of community. Each month, participants will share drafts with one another, read closely and offer considered critique, with an emphasis on craft rather than correction.
The group is intentionally small (max 6 participants). Sessions are conversation-led rather than taught, facillitated by an experience creative writing tutor (Dr Andrew Kenrick) and grounded in generosity, attention and shared responsibility. This is a space for work that is unfinished, uncertain and evolving — where questions of voice, structure, ethics and intention can be explored through the work itself.
Participants are expected to read one another’s work carefully and contribute actively to discussion. In return, you’ll receive detailed, thoughtful responses to your own writing at least three times during the course, and the rare opportunity to think alongside others who take the work seriously.
